Beautiful Freaks

OMG!! Still Buzzy had the best night at HOT CHELLE RAE ( if you don't know who they are, get on itunes and download Tonight Tonight and get your pop rock bop on) To celebrate the awesomeness I started my day making Nerd Cupcakes and Milk and Cookie Cupcakes.

I'm not even sure how to write about the concert... awesome hot crazy sexy insanely fun, LOUD concert. it didn't start so well doors opened at 630 the first act some random called Cher Lloyd didn't come on til 8 so a full hour and a half of being crushed by teenagers impressed by a ditsy white chick who thinks she can rap, not that I could hear her over the screaming teenage girls are LOUD. When she had finally finished, and got her sad butt off the stage (Someone needs to tell her LEGGINGS ARE NOT PANTS) the crowd relaxed and started to chat while waiting for HCR, amazing moment for us Taylor Swift Fans when We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together was played on the radio and the whole audience sang along... Mosh pits are great places to make friends and decide you want to kill someone too

Then the boys came out and it was game on , high energy fans screaming and singing every word from the first to the last. The Band clearly loving it just as much as the crowd... of all the concerts I've ever been to this had to be the loudest, I think Perth always gets so excited when someone makes the effort to come here, that we like to show how grateful we are by screaming cheering knowing every word and doing anything the band says...

My Future Husband, Ryan Follese..... and The Rest of the Band HOT CHELLE RAE

After screaming my little lungs out and dancing my butt off, we chose to wait for the band after the concert until Nash tweeted they were going to a bar, being old has it's perks we decided to go to the bar. which meant racing to the car and following the GPS instructions that took us round the building where we ended up behind a white van being mobbed by fans, naturally a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do and follow that van, I must of been a cop or a race car driver in a previous life because my tailing skills are top notch, except when I let them turn down a side street that must of gone to the hotel because we went and had the BEST Earl Grey Martini after finding the bar, which was a cute little jazzy bluesy hole in the wall, but alas no Hot Chelle Rae (Who should be more used to stalkers as they are named after one :) just kidding  )

So we called it a night and went home... then the other crazy thing happened after I dropped my friends off and was heading home, I saw something walking across the dark road, a quick flick of my high beams revealed a pretty bay horse... so I pulled over, put my hazards on and got out to see what a horse was doing in the middle of the night on the road alone, turns out the grass is greener on the median strip in the middle of a 4 lane main road, since I didn't want anyone else hitting him I called the cops... NOTE do not call the cops, when you live in a big city, 4 cops who had clearly never been near a horse before in their lives, were no help, so after a quick lesson in how to handle a horse (No you can't put the only girl on the horse bareback and hope for the best) and a photo session, I got the horse across the road and on the verge, they decided they could handle it from there and sent me on my way...

Bet you want the nerd cupcake recipe now right?

Nerd Cupcakes

225gs Butter
225gs Sugar
225gs Flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 eggs
1/4 cup nerds (Plus extra for decorating)

1) Place all ingredients in a bowl, beat until light and fluffy, then stir through nerds
2) Put spoonfuls of the batter in to cupcake pans bake for 30minutes or until firm when pressed
3) decorate with butter frosting and nerds

I love how easy this recipe is, and these cupcakes are super sweet with chewy crunchy bits in them

A perfect use of Halloween candy, as you can replace the nerds with any small candy... maybe gummi bears
